Just a couple of pet peeves.
1.---Idahodians: Those who were born and raised in Idaho. (this name was made up by Richard)
2.---Idahoans: Those who were brought here as kids and grew up here, or moved here for the lifestyle and like Idaho just as it is.
3.---Idafornians: Those who moved here from another (unnamed) state because they liked the quiet, laid back lifestyle, but complain because it isn't like "home".
4.---Calahos: Those who moved here because they liked the quiet, laid back lifestyle, then immediately want to change everything because it isn't like where they moved from and they want to "fix" us and the state, calling us backward hicks and the likes.
The other 3 names were supplied by a clerk at the Stinker Station in town. But we thought they were extremely apropriate, given the way people act and things they say.
You can tell a true Idahodian or Idahoan by the way they procounce the city of Boise. This has an "S" in it, not a "Z". Our town of Letha is pronounced with a long "E" sound. NOTICE TO ALL WHO LIVE IN IDAHO!!! SAY THE NAMES RIGHT!!!
Thank you for reading my rave.
Next---Learning how to drive in Idaho weather. Hint--TURN YOUR LIGHTS ON IN THE SNOW AND FOG!!

Sorry old man, but you may not remember hearing Nellie Berglund talk about driving to Boize. Of course she was an Idasotan.
And I have never heard any one pronounce Letha the way your described. Must have been Idoutatownians.
I couldn't agree more, Boize has always made me a little crazed....
Here in Denver we had a street named "Zuni", which you would think would be pronounced as Zunee, but no they say it like to you say Taxi. Go figure...

How about Koona and Wizer!
Wizer's an old horse!
