the bank of drawers opens to make an island counter.

sometimes it's good to be short.

Got home just as darkness hit on Friday. Richard got her backed in with just a little jockeying, as it's been quite a while since he has had to do such things. Now we need to cut down a tree, put a culvert in and cover it just to make the driveway larger. Rich is headed out soon to cut down the thorny bush across the street. It seems that the bush wanted to hold onto the truck while Rich was trying to back thru it.
Rich was up most of Friday night, so he decided to read the stuff we got with the trailer. Then we spent yesterday just looking and playing with the gadgets. Worry about doing the right thing also raised it's head. Buyers remorse? No, just plain worry.
This morning, we head out to take the photos above. As we are going down the driveway to the Queen, Rich tells me to not step on any "crumbly" dirt or mud so we don't track it into the trailer. Now picture this: two grown adults trying to step on anything but dirt - out here. If that ain't a sight! Like jumping on the stones that partially stick out of the water in the creek, only we were aiming for grass spots etc.
So we are looking forward to going for our first trip. Lots of time to plan. Rich wants to spend a couple of nights in the trailer to get used to sleeping there. Of course, that will wait until warmer nights are here. We are not gluttons for that much punishment.

Come on out for an inspection. You are welcome any time. We have a spare house. (not getting rid of the stationary one though.) Rent is negotiable. Toilet paper extra.

Nice, you guys may have to get an estate sitting job like the other Berglunds. Where you gonna put the dogs? R

Where ever we go, they go. By the time we get to go, there will only be 2. Emmy is the old lady and she is not doing well, so am thinking she will be leaving us soon. Lucy and Minnie get to go most places with us now.
As for the estate sitting, we have more than enough for us here. I don't really want to sell, and there is no market for houses here anyway. Reverse mortgages are not an option for us either.
