I pulled Her wheels and tires and she now has steel support.
Block sanding with 150 grit sure leaves a lot of dust.
But sand we must to make more dust
So the shop vac has something to do.
By raising the starboard side it makes it easer to reach
Got to sand those highs and lows to get that perfect shine
From back to front the sanding goes on and on
Blow off the dust, wash down the side, and start all over again.
The front and back bumpers are next to go.
But I don't know where to put em.
But I don't know where to put em.
The trunk lid is being supported by two steel saw
Horses and it's a work in progress.
Horses and it's a work in progress.
Starboard side and when ever thing is the same
It's blow off the dust, wash down the whole thing
It's blow off the dust, wash down the whole thing
And mask what you don't want paint on.
Guide coat of really thinned out black paint.
Lightly dusted over the whole surface.
Guide coat as a reference to tell what's been sanded
And what still needs sanding.
More to come, after the 150 grit sanding is finished.
Enjoy the rest of the pictures.

Different car. Different lifetime.
Olden timer had hardtop, black strips, black interior and got left in Hawaii. Just call me "Walter" as in "Dumb Ass!"
Got this one in Boise several years ago. Can't remember the exact date, but it got painted and upholstered and now it is getting a face lift. This one won't get sold cuz. They are gonna hafta bury us in it.
