Just a note to tell everyone we hope your Thanksgiving is safe and delicious. We will have 9 total here. Us, Lisa, Virginia, Ollie, and my mom and dad.
Richard is going to try to get my dad to narrate a DVD I had made last year. It is from film he took in 1962 in Pakistan. He was TDY there for a year. If we can get his narration taped, the guy who made the DVD will add the voice over. We have to do it this way so dad doesn't get nervous. I would like to get this before anything happens to him. I have a vest, veil, pants, shirt and he has a lot of stuff too. A camel saddle, dungees (religious thingies).
Then, after turkey day, Rich and I will help Ollie get packed. She is moving into the apartment building where Virginia lives. Her apartment is #214 in the other wing of the building. She gets her key tomorrow and we can start moving stuff in on Friday. Ollie is still in shock, and a little apprehensive, but she needs to be in before the 1st so as to not have to pay lot rent on the old place. We promised her it would be a lotta fun. (the moving part).
Got this little poem from my AARP sponsor. Thought it was cute so am passing it on.
"SPECIAL POEM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS!!
A row of bottles on my shelf,
Caused me to analyze myself.
One yellow pill I have to pop,
Goes to my heart so it won't stop.
A little white one that I take,
Goes to my hands so they won't shake.
The blue ones that I use a lot,
Tell me I'm happy when I'm not.
The purple pill goes to my brain,
And tells me that I have no pain.
The capsules tell me not to sneeze,
Or cough or choke or even sneeze.
The red ones, smallest of them all,
Go to my blood so I won't fall.
The orange ones, very big and bright,
Prevent my leg cramps in the night.
Such an array of brilliant pills,
Helping to cure all kinds of ills.
But what I'd really like to know....
Is what tells each one where to go!
There is always a lot to be thankful for if you take the time to look for it. For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt."

No, you are right, I can't count (or I hit the wrong button). Never can tell with me! CB
