Messenger Index does it again

In our paper box this morning, we found a new home town phone book put out by the local paper. This would be a nice thing, if they did it right. The first thing everybody in the world does when they get a new phone book, is check their own listing. Whether for spelling or the correct number, or address. So we opened the new book, and low and behold--WE ARE NOT IN THERE!
We start looking for other names from the Letha area. NOT IN THERE!! This is the 2nd time we have been excluded. Who ever does the proofreading of the book does not do their entire job. Called nicely last time, and the front desk says,"When you have an out of area number, it won't be in our book, or a number that is not Qwest." Since when is Letha an "out of area" and we do have Qwest? We replied that our address is actually an Emmet address, the first three digits of the phone number are 365 like most everybody else around here. On the front cover of the book is the headline "Serving Gem County, Sweet, Ola, Montour, and Letha". So, Mr. Tact (Richard) calls and tells the front desk he wants to speak to whoever is responsible. "Voice Mail?" "No, I want to chew her out in person." How many think that she will call back? Not me. I guess we will see.

Come on people Qwest is just the "spirit" of service anyway. Will make sure we aren't in there?
